Short for Image Resolution Enhancement Technology, it also allows for sharper, cleaner text printouts, even those in smaller font sizes. Likewise, color reproduction is maintained decent by ImageREt.
The duty cycle of this machine is set at 250000 pages a month by HP itself. Maintaining this requirement monthly allows for an optimum performance, as compared to other HP’s offerings. It also comes pre-installed with ColorSphere toner cartridges. But since the cartridges are introductory versions, they can yield roughly half of what standard ones can offer.
As much as 16MB of standard memory is available. Although there’s no memory or external HDD expansion slot available, the built-in memory is good enough for your day-to-day home or small workplace printing tasks. There’s also a driver support included for manual duplex capability. Since it’s not automatic, the pages have to be manually flipped over and re-inserted into the feeder for two-sided printing.
